A year in London

September has been busy. On Friday the 1st, I went to Durham for work (match management) - Durham is really very pretty and an easy 3 hour trip from London by train. At some stage I hope to go back and actually look around. On Saturday the 2nd we saw Beck and then on Sunday the 3rd we saw Bernard Fanning (check out Nick's blog for reviews). The following day we left for Australia - I really never realised how far away it is - the flight is sooooo long! Two weeks in Australia flew, catching up with family and friends, shopping and even some work for me (good opportunity to catch up with people at Cricket Australia). We got back on Sunday the 17th and the next day was back to work - Nick starting his new job at Skype. By the time we had caught up with sleep and washing, it was a week later and Nick was off to Tallinn for work for 3 days and I had two end-of-season functions to attend (bizarrely our version of the Brownlow Medal - the PCA Awards - actually took place on the same night as the Brownlow, although, not quite the spectacle of the Brownlow). On Friday we celebrated a year in London. Another show tonight (Ryan Adams - check out Nick's blog) and suddenly it's the end of the month and we are starting to see Christmas decorations for sale. Wow.
