New camera

After envying the great photos of some friends (shout out to Malthe, Brad, Belinda and Chris), I decided I really wanted a new camera (specifically a digital SLR) so for my birthday - a few days early even - Nick and Milo bought me a fab new camera (with some solid advice from aforementioned Malte and also Priidu, one of the designers at Skype). Below are my first very novice attempts - but even simply point and shoot I'm really happy with the pictures. I need to sit down and read the manual and invest some proper time to learn how to use the camera properly as it is currently a little embarrasing to have this great camera and actually know so little about photography! Obviously I will be publishing the results of my efforts on this blog, so hopefully you will see improvement!
