New house

After 5 years in the same house in Marylebone it was finally time to make a move to somewhere a bit bigger and a bit more child-friendly. After viewing 10 or so different places, we made an offer on a house in Queens Park (SO different to the current rental market in Australia - renters here make offers generally 50 a week less than advertised) which was accepted - along with our move in date - so we put down a quick deposit and got ready to move house. Some of the pics used in the advertising are below. We're the brown house, second from left -

One half of the double reception room -

Kitchen with conservatory eating area, leading out to the garden -

Quite small but lovely garden -

We're very excited about finally having a garden - although we've barely been out there since we moved in as it's been so cold! And I don't think it's looking quite so good as it does above (which was taken when the owners still lived here a few years ago).

Queens Park is a lovely area - not officially a suburb but the area around a large park called (not surprisingly) Queens Park. It's about a 10-15 minute drive from where we were previously, and still puts me at about a 30 minute walk from Lord's - but from the opposite direction. However it's quite a bit further for Nick and it looks like we will need to change Milo's nursery, but we're going to work that out in the new year.
