More from yesterday

Milo and I had a big day out yesterday. Starting with Little Gym where Milo bit his tongue (after a cuddle and a change of t-shirt, he went right back into class) -

Eating lunch at Pret -

Then it was on the tube to the Tate Modern where we met Sally and Frans. First up was the Obliteration Room (photos in the last post). After that we tried out a little play space for kids with torches which the boys loved and then looked around some of the main galleries. Milo really wanted to pick up some of the pebbles from this exhibit -

Listening to one of the audiovisual exhibits -

Not long after this photo was taken we made a hasty exit from the galleries...Milo had been pretty 'enthusiastic' all afternoon (he was super-excited to see Frans) and was generally being a 3-year-old. I was the mother stage-whispering 'don't touch!' Fortunately the galleries were pretty full so it wasn't too disruptive. However, when Milo accidentally bumped a small platform and part of the sculpture (a tube of wire, I think) fell over, it was definitely time to get out... (We got a dark look from the attendant in the gallery who immediately got on his walkie-talkie for someone to come and fix it - fortunately we weren't escorted from the building!) So then it was to the cafe for a babyccino -

Finally a little video we made at the Tate (which you can email to yourself or others - we sent this one to Daddy).
