Happy birthday to our beautiful boy, Henry. Two already! Today started with a birthday treat for all of us - Milo slept until 6am, Henry until 6.50 and just that is something to celebrate. Once everyone was awake it was time for the first round of presents - mostly Toy Story Imaginext, all of which Henry loved (see in the pictures how he grasps them all to his chest - although this could be fear of big brother snatching them away...) Because he's only 2 he opened just a couple of presents, was completely overwhelmed and thrilled, and was happy to go and get breakfast (unlike Milo who ripped through the wrapping of every present at Christmas, barely stopping to look at the contents...) Breakfast was pancakes (becoming a tradition) and after that we met Rachel and Charlie and went to a soft play center, Rascals, in Swiss Cottage. The boys loved it and wore themselves out running around and climbing (here's the soft play we went to last year for Henry's birthday). After that we had some lunch then walked back to Queen's Park via a party store to pick up a few bits for Henry's party on Saturday. Later it was time for the second round of presents. Lots of excitement, and lots of happy dances (check out the video at the end.) A great day.
