For the last few weeks Ivy has been working on getting mobile. Every few days she has mastered a new part of the puzzle - firstly holding herself up on her hands, then half up with one leg still under her, then up on all fours and rocking back and forth. In the last few days she has managed to actually move a little while up on all fours, but today she finally took off and crawled. I suspect it may have something to do with Humpty Dumpty. I bought Humpty today for Henry when we went to see Playschool Live - and he wouldn't let him go. Ivy was desperate to check him out (and suck on his hair) and finally while Henry was distracted with the iPad she got a chance to get him. It took her only a second to finally work it all out. We're less than a day in and Henry has already learned (begrudgingly) that he's going to have to keep his favourite toys up and out of reach!
(For the record, Ivy is 7 months, 3 weeks. Milo - see video here - was 8 months, 1 week when he first crawled, Henry - here - was just over 10 months!)
