Ice skating in Windsor

On Saturday we headed off to Windsor for some ice skating at one of the many ice rinks in and around London. Windsor (home of Windsor Castle, primary residence of the Queen) is about 30 minutes from Paddington Station via Slough (home of well known branch of Wernham Hogg Paper Company).

Nick finally faced his ice skating demons and strapped on some boots (although, we had bought the tickets online earlier in the week, at which time he was somewhat confident, but much less so when it came to take to the ice). However, all went well and he managed to stay on his feet the entire time. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for myself!

You can vaguely make out Windsor Castle through the trees.
