Me, 28 August, 2006, Florence, Italy.
Norma left for a 3-week trip to Italy this week so I thought I would find picture from one of our trips to Italy. We went to Italy 6 times in all (this trip to Florence and Pisa, also another to Tuscany for a wedding, Venice, Cinque Terre, Rome and Milan/Como - the last 3 all being in the summer of 2008 when I was pregnant with Milo) and still there is so much more of Italy I would love to see (Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Umbria...)
This picture is of me with Il Porcellino, and by rubbing his snout and giving him a coin it means I am destined to return to Florence. It's a beautiful city with so many amazing things to see, so I hope so. This photo was taken quite early in the morning and I'm looking so very tired...though I'm not sure why - there is obviously no excuse to look this tired pre-kids. (By the way, I can't believe this is 7 years ago!)
