On Friday we went to Bordeaux (just me, Nick and the boys) and amazingly managed not to get lost. The only thing we kind of planned to do was visit the Natural History Museum which we thought the boys would like. It's not a huge city so we parked and then walked into the centre, worked out where the museum was and headed that way. Of course when we got there we found the museum was closed. Fortunately, as in many things, the journey was just as important as the destination and we enjoyed wandering around a beautiful city anyway.
