On Friday I took Norma and the boys to Kensington Palace. This had been on my list of things to do in London for some time and I had just never got around to it. My tentative plans blew out for Friday morning so I decided it was the day for Kensington Palace and 15 minutes later we were all on our way.
I knew Norma and I would love it and fortunately it was far more kid-friendly than I would have imagined. There were lots of exhibits that could be touched (like displays in cabinet drawers that were designed to be opened and explored) and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I was also surprised by how excited Milo was by it all. I think the special map for kids and pencil provided by the ticket desk helped quite a bit and he was off from the start, keen to explore all the rooms and interested in what he saw. Both boys also had loads of fun playing with the toy box in the nursery.
All up, we had a fantastic visit. Definitely one I would recommend.
