After a fairly average summer we've had some sudden hot weather over the past week (yes, at 30 degrees it's hot for us - I have no idea how I will cope with 40s when we're back in Australia...) Finally, after lots of recommendations from friends, we made it to the water play at Kensington Memorial Park. We got there early (they only let limited numbers in) and it was pretty cool - lots of fun water fountains/features and lots of room to run around. The ground was soft and padded so safe and non-slippery. The fountains would go on for a few minutes then suddenly go off. And just when the kids started to relax, the water would go on again they would all squeal and run. Loads of fun for all. (And best of all - it's free! How good is that?)
